Scope:

Helicopters are the primary means of transfer of personnel to and from the offshore platforms. Such a transfer is subject to a hazard of helicopter ditching at sea.  The ‘Helicopter Underwater Escape Training’ (HUET)  is designed to train personnel required to travel by helicopter over sea in the skill of escaping from a ditched helicopter

• Emergency Escape

• Helicopter Safety Equipment

• Underwater Escape Drill

• Familiarisation and use of Heliraft

• Use of helicopter survival equipment

• Psychology of survival
