(Value Added Course)

Objective:   After successful completion of the course, the trainee will be competent to launch, recover take charge and operate lifeboat in various sea and weather conditions.

Scope:   OSVs, Oil Rigs & Platforms are equipped with lifeboat. Handling of these boats requires special skills in addition to normal boat handling skills.

These bootas are crucial sea survival equipment in case the rig or the vessel or the platfor is required to be evacuated in case of emergency.

The course has been designed to train offshore personnel who will be required to take charge and operate these boats.

The course is also suitable for all other seafarers who will be required to operate lifeboat.
